First real snow, anyway. It blew and blustered yesterday and left a nice soft blanket.
I don't like the cold. Cold cold anyway. I LOVE the snow! I think it makes winter bearable. It makes everything beautiful and glittery.
Pretty soon we won't be able walk out the door without shoveling our way out first. That means snowballs, sledding, snow angels, fun, fun, and more fun! And then coming in all rosie cheeked ready to sit down with a nice cup of homemade hot cocoa! TTFN!
Looky what I got in the mail today!! I live an hour away from the nearest place I can buy this magazine, and I have found a lovely woman on ebay who sells my favorites! I can't wait to snuggle in and absorb all the pages! I have been looking so forward to this magazine!
Of course, I had to get Somerset Studio, too. I was bumming because I couldn't get to town to get it, and she had it, too! Not only does she have super prices on my favs.,
she sends me freebies, too! This Cloth, Paper, Scissors was in the envelope as a gift for my business! She is sooo nice! Aren't the bottle snowmen just adorable? Off to overload my brain! TTFN!
Halloween started out strangely-there was a miniature cow in my living room!
Oh, it ended up being Chloe! Her first Halloween! She didn't get scared at all! She just kept giving everyone the strangest look!
Meet Jonesy. Yeah, like we need another cat. How adorable is he, though? I won't go into detail; let's just say he wasn't wanted and would probably be dead right now if we hadn't stepped in. He is so good, and what a riot! He has been keeping us on our toes! TTFN!
I'm giving a peek of my very exciting news! This is my parents barn and in the spring my sister-in-law and I are starting a farm market/antique store/everything in it. This is the nicest picture; you do NOT want to see the inside yet:)! No way! I did take before pictures, but it is such a mess up there! But I can definitely see the finished product in my head! It isn't hard. I always try to see the cup as half full. We have always wanted to start something, but expenses to rent, heat, etc. always loomed. Not to mention the way the economy is right now. We thought if we did it this way it would give us some experience in running our own business, and we'll have fun decorating and getting to know people. We might even make a little bit of money! The only thing I'm having a hard time with is coming up with a name. I will probably start a blog in that new name as soon as I can figure one out; I will be updating our progress all winter! TTFN!

I have found I make fun stuff when I'm not under stress to get the items done. My imagination can go crazy!
I want to start making things for my etsy shop, I just get so busy with everything else! I also seem to have more fun when I am making things for people I love and care for. The items just seem to be better. 
This was my most favorite. I love making fun things out of old ugly things!

Just about the time our colors started to change we got a huge wind storm, and this tree is about the only pretty tree left in the yard. We are surrounded by maple trees, so fall is beautiful!
