A New Year! Out with the old, in with the new! This year I feel will hold many new things for me! One major thing is the start up of White Barn Boutique and Farm Market! Everytime I think about it, I get a knot in my stomach! I am both very excited and very nervous at the same time. It won't be very fancy at first, but we all have to start somewhere, huh? I have always wanted to start something up and if nothing else it will give me some experience. I am optimistic, though, and I will stick with it. That is my biggest resolution this year. To start this up and stick with it. Don't let my fears get the better of me! Very soon we will be starting a blog for the new business with much more news and pictures! TTFN!

Winters Majesty

I know the last post was of snow also, but I love it! We got a BIG storm the other night and I woke up to this! Enjoy!

Woo-Hoo! First Snow!

First real snow, anyway. It blew and blustered yesterday and left a nice soft blanket. I don't like the cold. Cold cold anyway. I LOVE the snow! I think it makes winter bearable. It makes everything beautiful and glittery.

Pretty soon we won't be able walk out the door without shoveling our way out first. That means snowballs, sledding, snow angels, fun, fun, and more fun! And then coming in all rosie cheeked ready to sit down with a nice cup of homemade hot cocoa! TTFN!

Ooooh, I am so excited!!

Looky what I got in the mail today!! I live an hour away from the nearest place I can buy this magazine, and I have found a lovely woman on ebay who sells my favorites! I can't wait to snuggle in and absorb all the pages! I have been looking so forward to this magazine!Of course, I had to get Somerset Studio, too. I was bumming because I couldn't get to town to get it, and she had it, too! Not only does she have super prices on my favs.,

she sends me freebies, too! This Cloth, Paper, Scissors was in the envelope as a gift for my business! She is sooo nice! Aren't the bottle snowmen just adorable? Off to overload my brain! TTFN!

Great Weather & A Great Halloween

Halloween started out strangely-there was a miniature cow in my living room! Oh, it ended up being Chloe! Her first Halloween! She didn't get scared at all! She just kept giving everyone the strangest look!

And I don't even know these people(LOL). Hope everyone had a great Halloween. I'm itching to start getting out my Christmas stuff! It has been GORGEOUS(lots of emphasis) the last week. In the 60's and 70's, so we have been cleaning the barn non stop all week. Hence not posting on my blog for a week! Halloween was the nicest weather wise that I ever remember! I'll be posting more pics. of the progress on the barn soon. It is getting cleaned right up! It is supposed to be in the 30's by Saturday, so we're going back to how our weather should be(Ugh). They're talking snow. Oh well, I guess it is about that time! Happy Holidays! TTFN!
